Making the concrete case for capital markets – PR & comms breakfast
Making the concrete case for capital markets: the communications perspective
While the value of capital markets is self-evident to people who work in the industry, this is not always the case for people outside of it. Our starting point for discussion is that the capital markets have a terrible reputation that they need to address. There is a clear need for market participants to work together to make a clear case to both policymakers and the wider public of the benefits of capital markets for companies, investors and the wider economy.
This breakfast workshop for people in PR and comms from different sectors of the capital markets explores some of the following questions:
- Does the industry recognise the need to make a more positive and concrete case for capital markets
- What is the concrete case for capital markets?
- What is the best way of making that case and who should be making it?
