The future framework for capital markets in Europe: dinner with John Berrigan, European Commission
Since the financial crisis the European Commission has launched more than 40 significant reforms of banking and finance in Europe. As the fallout from the crisis begins to settle, both the industry and the Commission are keen to pause and reflect on the future framework of capital markets.
This private dinner for senior executives from across the capital markets will focus on:

- the proposed review into the cumulative impact of reforms since the crisis.
John Berrigan is the acting deputy director general of DG FISMA. He is one of the most senior policymakers in European financial markets with nearly 30 years experience at the European Commission.
